This should also been called in because when wires and cables are exposed it can be dangerous. I was told this by the city. After calling you can post to alert others.

@XYZ - why oh why must you be the unofficial arbiter of SCF posts? I'll say to you the same thing I said when I initially posted: there is NO street address because it's on Brewery St beneath Route 34. Also, there's no live wires involved. It's an issue the city has responded to by putting a safety cone over the studs. The cone was left there so long it literally dry rotted and was blown away.

@Tech75 XYZ tries to be helpful. If it was closed without anything being done, it was probably because there isn't enough location information. This is likely to be ignored for the same reason. They're not going to drive the length of Brewery St looking for it. Everything is some distance from a street address, a cross street, some kind of location identifier. If you want it fixed, give the city enough information to find it, like "beneath Route 34.'.

@David Agosta - thank you for your much more considerate reply. Using the app on a phone doesn’t point you to the location. However, bringing up the issue on a computer and clicking the location will open a map. If you were at the precise location when posting the issue, as I was, you will be directed within 50 feet of the location. Secondly, I also mentioned that the City did in fact respond to the initial post. They placed a traffic cone over the studs. However, there was no follow up beyond that. The cone succumbed to prolonged exposure to the elements and broke away. Lastly, the area beneath Route 34 on Brewery St is only six lanes and a median wide (the width of Route 34). And the walking path is on the east side of Brewery St. It isn’t difficult to locate.

They're not at the precise location. they're at a desk in City Hall. I see that you mentioned that it's a bike lane so I assume that you're a bicyclists. Your whiny, self-important attitude makes sense

I sent the new Director of Public Works a list of about 70 locations where injuries were reported or where four or five people had reported concerns about really (blanking) dangerous conditions.. Some were more than six years old. Four of them were less than a block away from a public school. Those were magically repaired after I field a complaint with the DOJ.

New Haven's bicyclists need to recognize that they're not as important as they think they are,

@David Agosta - thanks for showing your true colors. I know how to ride a bike but haven’t done so in over 25 years. I took an interest in this issue since I pass the location daily on the way to work. It’s a shame you think so lowly of those who do ride regularly. Or maybe it’s been your misfortune to only know those who are so conceited.

@David Agosta - 1) I don’t own a bike. 2) My concern goes beyond cyclists. There’s a high school directly across the street. Joggers use this city marked trail.

It's not an access route to anything It's the most insignificant location in the city.
